The ultimate chewy tahini balls

These are fudgey, chewy and have a really great bite. SO satisfying and packed with goodness.  Vegans swap honey for date syrup.


30g chunky almond butter  

70g light tahini

50g date syrup  

50g light organic runny honey  

25g sesame seeds

25g coco powder

50g oatmeal

50g desiccated coconut

pich sea salt  

extra seeds for rolling

clean tea towel or kitchen roll  


Method -  

Heat the nut butter, tahini, date syrup and honey in a pan on VERY low heat & entry stir until all warm and blended - take off the heat immediately- taste and add a little sea salt, stir. 

Add all the dry bits apart from the extra seeds for rolling. Stir really well until a sticky ball forms  

Cool for about 10/15 minutes


With a kitchen towel or tea towel, press down on the mixture to remove excess oil. This makes them easier to roll and keep shape.


Roll into balls and then roll in sesame seeds. 


Store in the fridge for a week.
